The following postcards were a class assignment. Students were asked to imagine being an adult salmon who has decided to migrate back to the family spawning grounds in the Connecticut River watershed. On the trip, the migrating salmon decide to write a postcard about the adventure and send it to friends/family back in the North Atlantic. Here are some of the cards:
